Government and Institutions

Governments and institutions continue to invest in infrastructure and development. In both developing and developed countries, schedule quality is frequently overlooked, making it difficult for contractors to submit reasonable claims.
In Southern Africa, a power utility company was losing contractors due to poor schedule quality, resulting in a high rate of claims rejections. By implementing FSA’s schedule analytics tool, both contractors and owners can conduct quick, in-depth studies of their project and schedules data.
This allows them to fully leverage their schedules for effective project management and Extension of Time (EOT) claims, thereby improving overall project outcomes, increasing claim success, and retaining contractors.
Our plan at FSA is to bring our tools, AI models, and industry knowledge to universities, enabling students to learn from real-world industry issues. By benchmarking their schedules against a high-quality standard often unseen in the industry, students and faculty gain valuable insights into how data can be effectively used in the construction sector. This collaboration aims to enhance educational experiences and foster improvements in systems and models, ultimately benefiting both academia and the industry.
